1. After deciding against studying at Bristol University, her mother decided to cut her allowances, forcing her to take a job as a receptionist for producer Michael Winner.
2. In April 2000 she worked closely with her friend Jayne Blight to open fashion boutique Akademi in Knightsbridge. Although they counted some of the world’s leading personalities like Victoria Beckham among their customers, in 2001 they had to close the boutique because of debt.
3. The business failure of her boutique brought her only £20. It later turned out that she had accumulated enormous personal debts.
4. In 2012 she was appointed editor of Events and Society for The Untitled Magazine, a semi-annual publication focused on fashion and entertainment.
