Kym Johnson is an Australian professional ballroom dancer and television actor. He was born on August 4, 1976 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She resides in Sydney, NSW, Australia. Kym started dancing at the young age of 2 and began concentrating her efforts on ballroom dancing only at the age of 13.

Australian native Kym Johnson’s first success as a dancer came in 1998 when she and her partner, Tomas Atkocevicious, took second place at the Australian Dancesport Championships. Similarly, she became the Australian Ballroom Champion, representing Australia on the international platform. However, Kym retired from professional dancing in 2001 and continued to perform on stage.
