Kudzai Machokoto (born 1982) is a Zimbabwean housewife from Zimbabwe. Also, she is the widow of her husband named Ginger Baker (musician and songwriter). Mr. Baker started a rock band, Cream. In addition to this, he earned himself the position of a superstar drummer.
He took drum lessons at the age of 15 with Phil Seamen. In addition, he valued his style and technique. He used two bass drums instead of one drum. The first recording of his is the song is Todd. Meanwhile, he can play long drum solos at that time.
He was inducted into the Hall of Fame (Modern Drummer 2008) and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. However, he remained in the media’s spotlight for his self-destructive and violent lifestyle. Ginger struggled with heroin problems in her life. On the other hand, she started growing olive trees in 1981 in Italy.
In February 2013, he faced lung disease, chronic back pain, and degenerative osteoarthritis due to chain smoking. He recovered from his critical heart surgery in June 2016. His relatives revealed that he was ill. However, he declared dead on October 6, 2019 at Canterbury hospital.
