Not all actors can boast of having started in the cinema at the hands of great filmmakers and great performers. Year after year, Kristen has been receiving succulent projects that she, since the beginning of her, she has known how to take advantage of.

He was born on April 9, 1990 in Los Angeles, where he lives with his parents and older brother. She is the daughter of a well-known producer ofthe fox, John Stewart and a script supervisor. Hence, it is not strange that the little Stewart is so linked to the world of cinema. And indeed, she landed her first role at age 11 in the drama The Safety of Objects , where she appeared alongside Glenn Close and Patricia Clarkson . A year later, in 2002, she released the harrowing thriller Panic Room , starring Jodie Foster , where young Kristen began to make clear the wide range of registers she was capable of playing Foster’s daughter.

Kristen returned to repeat the horror genre in The Messengers , also from 2007, undoubtedly one of her best years. But if she’s making waves right now, it’s because she’s aiming to become the next teen phenomenon: Twilight , the first part of a saga about teen vampires based on Stephenie Meyer ‘s bestsellers . The young woman soon became fascinated by her character –Bella Swan–, because she noticed that, in this tape, the roles of the girl and the boy were unusually reversed. In the movie, she is her partner, Robert Pattinson ., who suffers from fear and insecurity; on the contrary, she walks with a firm step. Although the young woman is going through a more than good professional moment, she fears the typecasting that comes with starring in movies like Twilight , Harry Potter -style saga , because if she likes something about her profession, it is precisely her versatility .

At the moment, she is preparing Welcome to the Rileys , where she will completely change register by playing a ‘stripper’ who lives on the street. Ella Kristen also admits that it is the role with which she has been most involved to date. As if that were not enough, she will have James Galdonfini and Melissa Leo as co-stars .

Currently, he is also preparing The Runaways , a biopic about the band of the same name from the sixties, and in which Kristen will play Joan Jett , one of the four members of the group.
