BIOGRAPHY OF KRIS MARSHALL
English-born actor Kris Marshall (Kristopher Marshall) is known for his role as Nick Harper in My Family. He left his full-time position but has since returned twice. He has made a number of appearances in numerous TV movies and movies. In the 2003 film Love Actually, he played the role of Colin Frissell. Collin is an Englishman who travels to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA to find love.

What happened to Marshall?
In the early hours of April 28, 2008, Kris Marshall was involved in a terrible car accident. He suffered a head injury after being hit by a car in Bristol.
The crash happened while enjoying a day out with friends in Bristol city centre. He was taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary, where a scan revealed head injuries.
Three weeks later, he made a full recovery and began performing in the Fat Pig play as planned. The ardent Aston Villa FC supporter says a club card helped him through his crash.
Three years later, in October 2011, Kris Marshall was charged with failing to provide a breath test after police stopped his car in the Tesco car park in Wells. Marshall had failed a breath test at the scene.
He then refused to provide a second sample to the police station. He was banned from driving for six months after pleading guilty.
