Kit began his broadcasting career in 1995 reporting on Road Rules, USA First Adventure on MTV. The reality show Road Rules featured five college cast members criss-crossing the country in a Winnebago. She then worked as an entertainment reporter for the American Journal Magazine show from 1997 to 1998.
