With his position at Warner Bros, he became the first Asian American to lead a major Hollywood studio as CEO. However, he then resigned from the company in March 2019 after a casting scandal.

The businessman was born as Kevin Ken Tsujihara on October 25, 1964, which makes him 56 years old as of 2020. He was born and raised as the son of Shizuo and Miyeko Mickey Tsujihara in Petaluma, California, United States. He is of Japanese American ethnicity and his parents owned the Empire Egg Company.
Regarding his education, after graduating from high school, he joined the University of Southern California. From college, he earned his bachelor’s degree and later earned an MBA from Standford Graduate of Southern California. After graduating, he tried to do business and opened a company named QuickTax Inc. However, his tax preparation website failed and moved to Los Angeles in search of a better opportunity.
In 1994, he joined Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc as Director of Special Projects Funding. He first handled the company’s interest in Six Flags theme parks in 1990. After that, he earned promotion as chairman of Warner Bros. in 2005. Then he became the company’s new chief executive when Barry Meyer announced his retirement. from his position on January 1, 2013. As a result, he became the first Asian American to serve as the CEO of a major Hollywood studio in Warner Bros.’ 90-year history.
However, he resigned from his post on March 18, 2019 after being investigated for the allegations that made headlines. On March 6, 2019, Warner Media investigated Tsujihara’s allegations that he accused him of landing British actress Charlotte Kirk a role in exchange for sex. Later on March 8, he issued an apology to WarnerMedi for his behavior. Additionally, he did not admit to having an affair with the actress but apologized for his mistakes.
