Born in New York on March 5, 1974, but of Irish descent, Kevin is the son of Eileen and John. The acting bug bit him since he was a child, since at only six years old he began to take his first steps in advertisements. In 1990 he got a small role in Rocky V , his big screen debut. Connolly has been accustomed to appearing in individual chapters of a large number of series such as Two in the air , Let’s go shooting or ER . Until he settled as a fixture on Unhappily Ever After.(1995), a funny comedy in which he plays the eldest son of a family with divorced parents. The production was on the air for five seasons and pigeonholed him in the role of comic boy, but gave him the opportunity to direct several episodes.

Entering the 21st century, Kevin Connolly began to have some luck and worked alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire in Don’s Plum , where they forged a good friendship that still lives on today. It is an independent film about some friends, their relationships and the bar they frequent. The film convinced since his next two productions were with Denzel Washington : Antwone Fisher is the story of a sailor who will search for his family against all odds; John Q was a success in which Kevin played the hospital nurse who kidnaps the protagonist.

Although he did not stop working, he did not find inspiration either, largely because he did not get anything to fill him up. He even came to consider retirement. But a certain Doug Ellin proposed a very succulent project. Thus, the most important achievement of his career occurred in 2004 with the premiere of the famous series El entourage . In it he played Eric, Vince’s best friend and manager, main character and star. HBO’s production lasted eight seasons and his role was gaining strength. Also that same year he was one of the secondary characters in the romantic El diario de Noa .

For Kevin Connolly, not everything was being an actor, and he decided to try behind the camera. His film debut came in 2007 with Gardener of Eden , a comedy about a young man who, after saving a girl from being raped, decides to dedicate himself to carrying out similar actions. The film had a discreet reception, but it was the necessary contact to start in the world of directing.

Returning to the world of acting, Connolly hasn’t had big roles in recent years except in the big-screen adaptation of The Entourage , released in the summer of 2015.
