Kenneth Gyang is a millionaire movie director from Nigeria and the First Male Director Of A Netflix Original. At the announcement of “Òlòturé” the movie he directed in 2019, the news was received with much enthusiasm. however, the movie showed a bright light on one of the Nigeria’s darkest trades.

Biography
Kenneth Gyang was born in Barkin Ladi, a local government in Plateau State between 1980’s and 1990’s.
After primary and secondary school he proceeded to the Jos Film Institute where he studied Film Production. He also studied screenwriting from Gaston Kabore and IMAGINE Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
Gyang who started directing from childhood in an interview said his first professional directing was at the age of 17.
In 2006, two of his short films as well as the a script titled “Game of Life” for the Berlinale Talent Campus.
The young successful director has directed several other Nigerian movie which has gotten both National and International recognition.

Career
Kenneth Gyang started his directing career as a child directed his first professional movie at the age of seventeen.
Studying Jos Film Institute where he studied Film Production was what makes his career successful. However, Kenneth Gyang has worked with the BBC World Service Trust directing their highly quality TV drama.
In 2006 he was profiled by the influential UK-based BFM magazine as the youngest film director in Nigeria.
Moreover, Kenneth Gyang has directed numerous Nigerian movies including the 2022 trending Nigerian bluckbuster movie ‘Blood Sisters’.
His 2019 movie ‘Oloture’ was one of the most successful crossover Nigerian titleson the service. The movie’s third feature premiered at the famous Carthage Film Festival.
