Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has vowed to reconstruct bridges and roads destroyed by flooding in the Suru and Maiyama Local Government Areas.
Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has vowed to reconstruct bridges and roads destroyed by flooding in the Suru and Maiyama Local Government Areas.
He made this pledge on Tuesday while inspecting the damage.
During his visit, Governor Idris said: “The state government would rehabilitate the bridges and reconstruct the roads. We will also continue to assist farmers for effective food production in the state.”
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting all communities in the state, ensuring food security, and providing necessary facilities for farmers.
Hon. Faruku Maisudan, State House of Assembly member representing Suru Constituency, praised the governor’s efforts in assisting the farmers with new facilities.
