He played leading roles in the saga of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and “No Country for Old Men.” Actress Kathy Lamkin passed away on April 4, 2022, at the age of 74. “Kathy will be missed by her family and her friends,” the family says, “and she left an impact on everything she encountered during her life on this Earth.”

Born on December 10, 1947 in Graham, Texas, Kathy Lamkin  appeared in a total of 46 film and television productions between 1990 and 2014. Although she lived in Houston with her family, she would travel to Los Angeles for weeks on end to participate in filming. .
She earned a Screen Actors Guild Award (SAG) as part of the cast of the Coen brothers’ critically acclaimed 2007 film No Country For Old Men , starring Kathy Lamkin  as a trailer park manager. where Anton Chigurh , a character from  Javier Bardem , was staying .
In The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2004),  Kathy Lamkin  played the enigmatic Tea Lady, a character who also appeared in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Origin . 
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Stephen L. Lamkin, and their two children.
