Katharine Ross is a famous American stage and film actress. She first rose to fame playing the character of Elaine Robinson on The Graduate.

On January 29, 1940, in Hollywood, California, United States, Katharine Ross was born to mother, Katharine Hall, and father, Dudley T. Ross. Her father was a Navy officer. Later, her family settled in Walnut Creek in California.
