Kari Matchett, born and raised in Canada, is a television and film actress. She made her entertainment industry debut in 1996 and is still active in the field. Some of her popular works include Cube 2: Hypercube where she appeared as a psychotherapist and Undercover Affairs where she played the role of a senior officer of the Domestic Protection Division. Her performance in various movies and television series helped her get nominated for several awards. She is dating actor David Lyons with whom she shares a son.

Matchett then worked on various television series such as All Souls, Blue Murder, Wonderfalls, The Eleventh Hour, and Invasion among others. She is, however, popular for her work on the USA Network television series, Covert Affairs where she shared the screen with Piper Perabo , Christopher Gorham and Anne Dudek.
