Judith Regan is an American writer, editor and talk show host. Since 2013, she has been the head of Regan Arts. Additionally, she has hosted several talk shows on television as well as radio including Fox News Channel and Sirius and XM Satellite. Additionally, she has also made guest appearances on TV shows, like The Millionaire Matchmaker and The Joy Behar Show.

She had also been in legal trouble following her published book titled If I Did It. In fact, the book is based on interviews with murderer OJSimpson that were scheduled to air on Fox News Networks along with the book. But the News Corporation canceled both scenes after heavy criticism. Despite this, she published the book which became the number one bestseller for which she was fired.

The editor was born on August 17, 1953 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, United States of America. She grew up in a large Sicilian and Irish family in Bay Shore, New York, on a farm. She was born as the middle child to her parents Rita and Leo who both worked as teachers. Additionally, she has four siblings: two brothers and two sisters. Moreover, she has an American nationality and belongs to a mixed ethnicity.

 

Regarding her education, she attended Bay Shore High School and graduated in 1971. After that, she joined Vassar College in 1975 in Poughkeepsie, New York. From college, she earned a bachelor’s degree in English and art history and enrolled in the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Professional career:

She then worked in 1977 as a secretary at the Harvard Institute of Politics as well as at the National Enquirer. In the 1980s she worked as an editor for a number of publications and also produced a number of television shows. She signed a deal with Simon & Schuster to write two books. But later she canceled the agreement to take care of her son who had an accident, hurt his head, hit by a drunk driver.

She signed new novelist Gregory Maguire after creating the Regan Books imprint with HarperCollins. His other notable work includes the 2006 OJSimpson interview where he confused his acquaintance. Additionally, she hosted a number of talk shows from 1994 to 2004, including her own show called Judith Regan Tonight. She became CEO of Regan Arts in 2013 after losing a bidding fight to buy Phaidon Press.
