Josh Dun was born Joshua William Dun on June 18, 1988, Columbus, Ohio, United States of America. He is the son of Laura Lee McCollum and William Earl ‘Bill’ Dun . He has three siblings, two sisters named Ashley Bonnie Lee and Abigail Christine ‘Abbie’ Dun and a brother named Jordan Christopher Dun . He grew up with his brothers in Columbus.

Dun worked with the band until Colin Rigsby ‘s return to the band until October. After some while out of band, he escaped to Twenty One Pilot . In 2011, at the invitation of the band’s then drummer Chris Salih , he met the Twenty One Pilots crew .
