Joseph Attieh  (Arabic:  جوزيف عطية ), born May 14, 1987 in Batroun is a Lebanese singer. He achieved recognition through the show Star Academy 3  in 2005. Joseph Attieh won first place, becoming the very first Lebanese to win the show. In 2006, he released his first single titled “La Trouhy”. The song became a bestseller in Lebanon and the Middle East. Apart from his career as a successful singer, Joseph Attieh is also an actor. The public finds him in “  Jeeran  ”, the Lebanese version of the famous American sitcom “  Friends  ”. The show does not last more than one season due to lack of audience.

• In April 2008, Joseph released a patriotic song, his greatest hit “El Haq Ma Beymout” or “Lebnan Rah Yerjaa” and won the first Murex d’Or award in 2009 for this song as Best Patriotic Song of the Year .
