JOSE TOLEDO: AGE, PARTNER, FULL NAME AND WHY HE DISAPPEARED FROM TELEVISION
Josefina Victoria Toledo López is the full name of this presenter who was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1963. In the 80s she became one of the most international models in our country when she walked for brands such as Chanel, Balenciaga, Christian Dior, Gianni Versace, Calvin Klein or Carolina Herrera.
But her great leap in popularity would come with the jump to television, where she made her debut in 1991 on the now-defunct Canal+ as presenter of the Los 40 principales space. In 1994 she joined TVE, where she became a mythical presenter for more than 15 years.
Jose Toledo was the visible face of spaces such as ‘Gente’, ‘Cartelera’ or ‘Corazón, Corazón’, leaving it in 2009. Later, programs would arrive on Telemadrid and the recent magazine ‘Buenos dias, buenas tardes’, for TVE internacional .

In 1984, she married José Cristóbal Martínez-Bordiú y Franco, son of Cristóbal Martínez-Bordiú and Carmen Franco, the only daughter of Francisco Franco. The couple had two children as a result of their relationship: Daniel, born in 1990; and Diego, who would arrive in 1998.
The marriage broke up in 2017, the year in which she decided to change her life and resume her work as a model. Her decision to go to the United States was motivated by new opportunities in the world of fashion, both as a model and in other types of functions. Since then, she has stayed halfway between the United States and Spain, where she returns to present specials such as Campanadas on TVE in the Canary Islands.
