Early age and education

Born on November 4, 1993 in Whitely County, Kentucky, USA, Jordan Smith is the son of Geri Smith and Kelley Smith. His parents raised him in the House of Mercy congregation in the town of Williams Creek, Kentucky.

Smith has attended Harlan County High School. At the age of 19, she won the Poke Sallet Idol competition at the annual Poke Sallet Festival. She attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
