BIOGRAPHY OF JORDAN PATRICK SMITH
Jordan Patrick Smith is an Australian-Scottish actor. He is known for playing the role of Andrew Robinson in the Australian soap opera Neighbours.
The character’s backstory was changed to fit Smith’s Scottish accent. Smith wrapped filming Neighbors in 2012. Since then, he has appeared in feature films such as Unbroken and historical dramas Banished and Vikings.
After graduating from high school, Smith took a number of acting classes. He then appeared in a few commercials. Previously, he appeared in H2O: Just Add Water, in which he played a surfer.
Additionally, he also had roles in Mortified and Home and Away. In 2009, he was offered the role of Andrew Robinson in the hit soap Neighbours. He admitted that Neighbors had to change his character’s story because of his Scottish accent.
While filming Neighbors, he resided with his co-star Chris Milligan, who played Kyle Canning. On November 26, 2012, it was announced that Smith would be leaving Neighbours. In 2015 he began appearing on the BBC series Banished. He then joined the Vikings cast as Ubbe in 2016.

Jordan Patrick Smith accidentally hit a girl while filming the Vikings fight scene. Vikings is known for its violence and cold-bloodedness, especially in the final season where the warriors fought on English turf in the name of Ragnar Lothbrock.
It’s no wonder, then, that behind the scenes can get a little dangerous from time to time. Ubbe star Jordan Patrick Smith has opened up about when he accidentally punched a girl in the face while filming one of the show’s infamous battle scenes. He said: “There are always mistakes.
The only person I ever hurt was unfortunately a young girl. The 29-year-old paused for a second as he winced at the thought, before letting out a nervous laugh. He has it “right between his eyes”. Explaining what happened, he continued: ‘I was supposed to punch her in the face with the back of a sword.
“She was supposed to go right, and I was supposed to go left, but I went right and she went right and I put her between her eyes.” Ouch! His reaction apparently wasn’t great, as Jordan grimaced, “I could see the eyes starting to flicker and I was like, ‘it’s not going too well.’
The former Neighbors star revealed that the actors practice up to four times a day for six weeks before filming the fight scenes. Giving us a glimpse of what’s to come in Season 5B, he teased, ‘We’ve been training a lot – there’s a big fight between me and a guy who’s about eight foot tall and that’s the biggest fight that I have ever done in my life.
‘It took us a day and a half to shoot and it’s on screen for about three minutes. ” He added: ”It all starts out big and epic but it gets all tight and personal and yeah that day I had bruises. ribs and a black eye – he hit me twice in the jaw!
