It was all because of his game that he impressed everyone and because of that, he managed to get that scholarship. He was a great ice hockey player like his brother Bernie. After that, he moved to another university called Ryerson University and he also played ice hockey there.

After his death, his brain was donated to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine for research.
