John cusack

It’s easy to identify with John Cusack in each of his movies. He does not like the typology of the hero, but that of the common man. And therein lies his strength.

That is his best weapon, that he does not differ in any way from any guy who walks through any city in any country. John Cusack will never be a star, a typical star I mean, the Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt type . He does not go. His face has no defined feature, nor his way of expressing himself, and yet each role he plays is extraordinarily convincing. That is why it is difficult to highlight one over the others, because they are all as equal as they are different, that is, as normal (and rich) as the characters of the types that swarm the streets. John Cusack has hook, mind you, and he’s usually liked. The key is in the scripts he chooses.

John Paul Cusack was born on June 28, 1966 in Evanston (Illinois), the son of Richard (actor and film producer) and Nancy (teacher). His father’s profession has a lot to do with the fact that his four siblings are actors: Joan, Susie, Bill and Ann, although he has turned out to be the smartest in the class. He soon began to take his first steps on stage at the Piven Theater Workshop in Chicago and at the age of 17 made his film debut withClass (1983), a sitcom that also featured Jacqueline Bisset . Two years later John Cusack starred in his first film (College Love Games ), directed by Rob Reiner , and has since become a highly prolific actor, with forty-three films to his credit to date. But he has been rising very little by little.

After some outstanding first films, such asCount on Me (1986),At the edge of the news (1987) orShadow Makers (1989), John Cusack found success alongside Anjelica Huston and Annette Bening inThe Con Men (1990), Stephen Frears ‘s adaptation of the Jim Thompson novel. From that moment on, his name began to sound and his presence became more important, until his final consecration at the hands of Woody Allen with the role of David Shayne inBullets Over Broadway (1994). His following works demonstrated his enormous versatility: comedy (Battle Creek Spa ), thriller (City Hall ), action (Con Air (Convicts in the air) ), drama (Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil ) or war movie (The thin red line ). Then, after playing a young Rockefeller in the superbDown the Curtain (1999), John Cusack entered his richest and most original interpretative period. He starred in the debut of the crazy Spike Jonze , with the unforgettable character of a puppeteer in the paranoidBeing John Malkovich (1999), but mostly he wrote, produced and starred inHigh Fidelity (2000), an original analysis of love based on Nick Hornby ‘s novel and for which John Cusak received the most important nominations of his career (BAFTA and Golden Globe). The film is one of the projects of the production company founded by the actor, New Crime, with which he has also carried out several theater productions in Chicago.

In his latest films, John Cusack has maintained a high acting level and they have been very favorably received by the public:Serendipity , with Kate Beckinsale , the amazing thrilleridentity , andThe Jury , with Rachel Weisz . Not so well received, however. The Ice Harvest , failed crime comedy by Harold Ramis . John Cusack did well when he returned later to the most classic romanticism with … And that he likes dogs (2005), together with the beautiful Diane Lane , in which he gave life to a guy who was looking for a love as great as that of the movieDoctor Zhivago . Now John Cusack has several films to release, since 2007 has been very prolific for him: The dramaLife without Grace , the thrillersThe Contract andWar Business , for which he has also written the screenplay, and the comedyThe child from Mars .
