John H. Boyd, thirty-five years old, is an American actor. He is best known for playing Arlo Glass in the eighth and final season of Fox’s spy thriller 24. John also co-starred in the 2012 Academy Award-winning political thriller Argo, and in 2014 began billing as an FBI Special Agent. John H. Boyd was born on October 22, 1981 in New York City, New York, United States of America. He spent his childhood in New York City with his family.

John Boyd was born and raised in New York City. Guy Boyd is the father of John, who is also an actor, and Sissy Boyd is his mother. He has an older sister named Pauline Boyd who is also an actress in Hollywood. John graduated from Bennington College.

He made his feature film debut in the short film Stay, and went on to appear in two episodes of Law and Order. Boyd began his acting career in 2005 when he appeared in short films and various minor film roles and made a guest appearance on an episode of the NBC legal drama Law and Order. However, Boyd returned to the show in 2006 as a different character. John Boyd cast his first breakout television role in the eighth and final season of the Fox 24 spy thriller as Arlo Glass in 2010.

Following the cancellation of 24, he guest-starred in the American legal drama Suits and in 2011, he was scheduled to be cast as Todd in the Fox Iceland comedy pilot, however the network did not cast him. In 2012, he won an Oscar for the thriller Argo with ben Affleck and Bryan Cranston.

Boyd began casting as FBI Special Agent James Aubrey on the Fox crime procedural comedy-drama Bones in the tenth season in 2014. John Boyd was credited as a special guest star during the season premiere titled The Conspiracy in the Corpse and added to the main cast the second episode entitled The Lance to the Heart.
