First album

As a member of the band Good Night, Sister Joel Little released his debut album Always and Never , in January 2006 through Festival Records. It consisted of tracks like My Only One , Take My Hand , Death Goes to the Disco , Suffering , A Shadow and a Prayer , Our Song , Milkshake , and The Massacre Begins Tonight . The album was certified Gold and also peaked at number 5 on the RIANZ New Zealand Top 40 Albums Chart.

1. He began his musical activities as the lead singer and guitarist for the band Gute Nacht, Schwester in 2001 along with vocalist Jaden Parkes and bassist Paul Taite. On June 25, 2001, they practiced as band members for the first time in Jaden Parkes’ garage.
2. Joel Little and Good Night Sister guitarist Sam McCarthy have also worked together outside of the band and Joel produced and co-wrote the majority of the debut album entitled Sugar Pills , by McCarthy’s new group Kids of 88 . The album was released in 2010 and reached #2 on the New Zealand Albums Chart. It included songs like Just a Little , Everyone Knows , Ribbons of Light , My House , Apart from You , Downtown , and Feed the Birds . The Single Just a little bitalso became “Single of the Year” at the 2010 New Zealand Music Awards.
3. Joel founded his own production studio called Golden Age in 2011 in Morningside, Auckland, New Zealand.
4. In 2012, Joel Little collaborated with Lorde on her debut EP, The Love Club and its single, Royals , charted at #1 in New Zealand in 2013. The EP also received Gold certification in New Zealand and Platinum certification in Australia.
