Born under the name of Joseph Anthony Gatto Jr on June 5, 1976 in Staten Island, New York, Joe Gatto is of American nationality. Gatto attended Monsignor High School and graduated in accounting from Long Island University. Although he graduated in accounting, Gatto radically changed the direction of his career. He later confessed that he only took Major because his father said so. The comedian also said he was pretty good at math, which was one of the reasons he took the major.
