Joanna Gaines is a well-known name in the television industry, most famous for her HGTV Show named Fixer Upper which became a major hit enjoyed by viewers and audiences alike. Gaines and her husband Chip Gaines have repaired and remodeled homes for the past twelve years. They are the owners of Magnolia Homes in Texas.

Joanna Gaines was born on April 19, 1987 in Kansas City, which makes her nationality an American. Her mother is Korean while her father is half Lebanese and half German. She belongs to a mixture of ethnicities. She graduated from Baylor University where she also met her future husband, Chip. Gaines majored in communications, but went to New York to pursue design.

Joanna married husband Chip Gaines in 2002. They met in 2001 and started dating. Despite being polar opposites, they fell in love and got engaged the same year. Finally, in 2003, they officially got married in Waco, Texas, where they live. The couple ran the business together for 12 long years, they have four children and are currently expecting a fifth child. They announced the news of their fifth child in January 2018. The couple also opened a new restaurant in Texas this year.
