A very popular and familiar face in the United States, Joan Rivers accompanied her American fellow citizens throughout almost the entire history of the small screen. She now she just passed away.

 

Joan Alexandra Molinsky, better known as Joan Rivers as a comedian, television presenter and actress, has died in her native New York at the age of 81.

Of Jewish Russian origin, he participated in off-Broadway plays. Although in cinema she made films like The Swimmer (1968), directed by Frank Perry , and gave voice to animated characters, animals and puppets, she was popular, especially in the United States, for her condition as a television presenter and her comic monologues. She also became a celebrity paradigm subjected to numerous cosmetic surgery operations.

She was married twice, unfortunately the suicide of her second husband in 1987, television producer Edgar Rosenberg. She had a daughter with him, Melissa, who survives him.
