Jimmy Graham was born on November 24, 1986 in Goldsboro, North Carolina. When he was 11 years old, his mother put him in a group where other children physically abused him.
A year later, he was adopted by a youth counselor in high school. Then he finally improved his grades and then went on to earn a big name in basketball as a sophomore at Community Christian in Wilson, North Carolina.
Graham also earned a basketball scholarship to the University of Miami after he performed well as a junior and senior at Charis Prep in Wilson, North Carolina.
