YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Born on October 20, 1987 in Madrid, Spain, Jimmy Castro Vioque is a Spanish television presenter and actor of Nigerian descent. From a young age he was clear that he wanted to dedicate himself to show business, in fact, he began his professional career as a presenter of children’s programs for ‘Club Disney’ in 1994 and ‘Zon @ Disney’ in 2002.

He combined the facet of presenter with that of actor in the series ‘Kanguros’, which would be followed by work in the series ‘Hermanas’ and ‘El Super’. He studied acting in Madrid at William Layton’s Laboratory, continuing his training at Bob McAndrew’s studio in New York. Likewise, he has worked on Spanish fiction such as ‘Los hombres de Paco’, ‘La fuga’, ‘Hospital Central’, ‘El comisario’ and ‘Aída’, among others.

In 2013 he made his debut as a director, directing and writing the short film ‘And why not?’ . He made his theater debut starring in the adaptation of the play ‘Been so long’, by Ché Walker in 2011. He has worked at the National Classic Theater Company in productions such as Pedro de Urdemalas by Miguel de Cervantes, ‘La dama boba’ by Lope de Vega and ‘El Banquete’ with texts by Shakespeare, Moliere and Calderón de la Barca, among others.

In addition, he has also made the leap to the big screen with productions such as ‘Don’t say anything’, ‘Where the Road Runs Out’, ‘Smoking Club 129 Normas’, ‘The incredible waning weekend’, ‘The never seen’, ‘The Man who killed Don Quixote’, etc.

HIS PERSONAL LIFE

On a personal level, Jimmy Castro is not a faithful follower of social networks. But, on his Instagram account, he has more than 8,000 followers, a platform where he also shares his closest and most intimate face. On the other hand, in the field of love, the actor has always been very reserved with his private life. Therefore, any type of love relationship is unknown to him.
