Early life, biography and education of Jillian Harris
Jillian Harris was born on December 30, 1979 in Peace River, Alberta, Canada. She is a Canadian national. She spent most of her childhood days with her siblings.
Jillian has always been interested in the arts and design. She always wanted to design her room and her home. Harris was enthusiastic about embarking on a career as an interior designer. Her parents were also supportive of her decision to become an interior designer.
Harris was not only fascinated by the designs, but also spellbound by the glitz and glam of Hollywood. She then began to reside in Vancouver to get closer to her dreams.
Jillian Harris’ career
She started working at the Cabana interior goods store, which invoked the designer in itself. She became more and more interested in design.
Jillian earned a BCIT in Interior Design and became certified in 2006. She is known to the public for her constant appearance on reality television.
She first appeared as a contestant on season 13 of the ABC reality show The Bachelor and finished in third place. She was subsequently chosen by the network as the fifth bachelorette party.
Harris chose contestant Ed Swiderski as her partner. The couple later became engaged. However, like any other bachelorette, they finally broke up in 2010. This was not the end of Harris’s career.
He then began to show his artistic self by providing his services to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, as the title suggests, he redesigns people’s homes.
He currently appears on the series Love It or List It Vancouver which airs on the W Network in Canada and HGTV in the United States under the title Love It or List It Too. On the show, she expresses the true designer self of her working to redesign a family’s existing home in the hopes that they will stay in the home after it has been redesigned to its finest.
In 2011, Jillian hosted the Calgary Home + Design Show, as part of the HGTV booth. She currently has the merit of directing her own brand of interior decoration products. Harris launched his e-vintage website called Charlie Ford Vintage on July 8, 2013.
He is also credited with hosting the first season of the Canadian television show Canada’s Handyman Challenge in 2011, which later aired in 2012.
