Jessie Graff is a professional stuntwoman and elite athlete. Nicknamed Tumbleweed, she holds a black belt in Taekwondo, a black band in Kung Fu, and is trained in five other styles of martial arts.She is also a champion pole vaulter and competitive gymnast. She has become known for her athletic achievements in a sports entertainment competition, American Ninja Warrior, including in 2016 becoming the first woman to complete Stage 1 of the Las Vegas Finals course and the second woman to conquer Stage 1. of the Sasuke franchise worldwide (excluding Kunoichi), following Chie Tanabe in SASUKE 2. She became the first woman to compete and successfully finish Stage 2 in Las Vegas in 2017, and was the first woman to represent the United States in the US vs. the world competition.

Born on January 12, 1984, in New York City, New York, Jessie Graff is the daughter of Tom Graff, a high school drama teacher, and Ginny MacColl, a dancer and actress.
Graff is an American national and is particularly White-American by ethnicity. He lived in New York in his early years before moving to Pennsylvania after her parents divorced. The family resettled in Maryland after her mother remarried her stepfather Richard Ishler.
Jessie Graff started her circus classes at the age of 6 and began learning gymnastics when she was 9. As a child, Jessie confessed that it was hard for her to make friends, but she used to do clever gymnastics tricks to get his attention.
Graff graduated from Urbana High School, Maryland, where she was a pole vaulter. She has completed aerospace engineering at Georgia Tech and theater at the University of Nebraska.

Jessie got her start as a stunt woman in 1997 appearing in several of the movies including X-Men: First Class, Another Period and Bridesmaids to name a few. Her recent high-profile stunt work of hers can be seen in the Supergirl series.
