She played one of the leads in the cult sitcom “Election.” Jessica Campbell passed away on December 29, 2020, at the young age of 38. The cause of her death is under investigation. The family says that Jessica had been complaining of congestion and felt that she had a cold, but they do not believe that she was COVID-19. The actress did not return from the bathroom and when her aunt went to look for her, she found her lifeless.

At seventeen, he would take part in his most remembered film, Election , by Alexander Payne , where he played Tammy Metzler, sister of a popular injured soccer player, who, like him, is running for student elections, to take votes away from the dedicated senior Tracy (Witherspoon).
His work earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best New Performance. Election received rave reviews but failed at the box office.
After the film, he took part in some other title, such as Object Safety , together with Glenn Close . After starring in Stephanie Meurer’s Junk, which had no impact, Jessica Campbell retired from acting to pursue homeopathic medicine.
