Jerry Stiller, comedian and actor, died at the age of 92 on May 11, 2020. It was his son, the popular Ben Stiller, who confirmed the harsh news through social networks. “I am saddened to announce that my father, Jerry Stiller, has passed away of natural causes. He was a great father and grandfather, and a devoted husband to his wife, Anne, for some 62 years. He will be sorely missed. Love you, Dad.” The protagonist of “Something’s up with Mary” has written on Twitter.

Born June 8, 1927 in New York, Jerry Stiller  served in the Army during World War II. At the end of the contest, he began acting as a comedian in locals. He achieved success when he formed the duo Stiller and Meara with his wife, Anne Meara .

Additionally, Jerry Stiller has lavished himself on film and television, appearing in such titles as  Hairspray ,  Hot Hot Chase ,  Nadine ,  Seize the Day ,  The Ritz ,  Pelham 1, 2, 3,  and  Airport 75 . He became popular especially as Frank, father of George Costanza, one of the protagonists of Seinfeld . He also appeared alongside his son Ben Stiller in Zoolander  and Compulsive Marriage .
