Jerry Falwell Jr is an American academic administrator and legislator. He was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, United States of America. He is best known for serving as president of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia from 2007 until August 7, 2020.
He was named president of Liberty University in 2007 after the death of his father Jerry Falwell Sr. On August 7, 2020, the university board asked Jerry to temporarily resign after a series of controversial photographs of Falwelll resurfaced on the internet.

The photos also include another group of people dressed inappropriately and showing all the signs of drinking. This, however, is completely opposite to the morals and behaviors of Liberty University’s code of conduct. The photos which are now deleted led the board to announce on August 7 that he will be taking indefinite leave from his position to calm the situation.
