Jennifer Jason Leigh was born on February 5, 1962 in Hollywood, which is not uncommon considering that she is the daughter of actors Vic Morrow and Barbara Turner . She started her career when she was a child and since then she has participated in more than seventy titles. However, she cannot be considered a famous actress. In her filmography there are no big box office hits, on the other hand there are endless independent titles that have helped her to consolidate her career and not turn her into the typical “celebrity”.

Throughout Ella Leigh’s career she has gone through different genres. In terror, she has worked on titles such as Highway to Hell (1986) , Midnight Heart (1988), Buried Alive (1990) or eXistenZ (1999) byDavid Cronenberg , although among them stands out her interpretation of Hedy in Single White Woman Seeks (1992) where she gave Bridget Fonda a hard time .
Despite the fact that there is no blockbuster title in her career, Jennifer can boast of having worked with some of the best in the profession. Thus, when she was a young girl, she starred with an unknown Sean Penn in the teen comedy That Exciting Course (1982).
