1. Jeff’s mother died of brain cancer when he was just 9 years old.
2. At the age of 12 he became interested in motocross and started riding when he was in 9th grade.
3. His first motorcycle was a Yamaha YZ-80, which he got when he was 13 years old.
4. Jeff also played baseball but had to retire due to an arm injury he sustained in motocross.
5. At school, he played American football as a fullback and linebacker, which he later left to wrestle.
6. In 1992, Jeff and his brother Matt, along with their other friends, formed a wrestling federation called The Trampoline Wrestling Federation .
7. Before Jeff and his brother Matt entered the world of WWF, they founded the Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts, a wrestling promotion called OMEGA.
8. In his early years with the WWF, he worked as a jobber, losing at 16 to show the other wrestler in a bright light.
9. Jeff signed his first full-time contract with the WWF in April 1998.
10. Before they became famous as the Hardy Boys, the brothers were called the Jynx Brothers.
