Jason sudeikis
Jason Sudeikis is one of the greatest representatives of the comedians of the last decade from the iconic American show “Saturday Night Live”, along with Kristen Wiig and Will Forte. Like many other comedians from this show, he is expected to make a career in movies.
Daniel Jason Sudeikis was born on September 18, 1978 in Fairfax (Virginia), although he soon moved to a town in Kansas that he considers his home, and in fact many of his jokes pay homage to this state. The son of a travel agent and a company executive, he is the nephew of actor George Wendt , popular for the series Cheers , where he played Norm Peterson, one of the bar’s regular customers.
During his adolescence and youth he studied at a Catholic institute. He was very fond of sports, and was part of a baseball team. He started out as a comedian in a Kansas City club, founded the comedy troupe Der Monkenpicket, and eventually moved to Chicago, where he studied acting at Annoyance Theater and ImprovOlympic. He was still a stand-up comedian when he was offered a scriptwriting contract on “Saturday Night Live” in 2003. He occasionally appeared on the show as an extra, until in 2005 he became one of the regular sketch comedians.
He soon became famous for parodying Vice President Joe Biden, Taylor Hicks, winner of “American Idol” and invented characters, such as reporter Jack Rizzoli or policeman Sikorsky. He moved on to movies, with small roles in comedies like The Ten Crazy Commandments , Semi-Professional. A ball team , A ball rocker , etc. In Something Happens in Las Vegas , he was the ex-boyfriend of Cameron Díaz , and in Exposados , a friend of Jennifer Aniston in love with her.
In 2004, he married Kay Cannon, a producer and writer for Rockefeller Plaza , who recruited him to play Floyd, a guy who fell in love with Liz Lemon, the character of Tina Fey , in the series . The couple divorced in 2010, and the comedian was later briefly paired with actress January Jones .
In recent times they begin to give him leading roles in movies. The Farrelly brothers recruited him to lead with Owen Wilson the cast of FreeCell , where they are two husbands whose respective wives give them a weekend leave so they can flirt with other women, in order to teach them a lesson. With Jason Bateman and Charlie Day , she starred in How to Kill Your Boss , where they were three guys who set out to murder their respective superiors, who make their lives miserable.
Sudeikis recently sparked controversy over his prank on Selena Gomez when the comedian hosted the MTV Movie Awards. He told the singer, sitting in the audience, to be careful when kissing her boyfriend, Justin Bieber , because he was worried she might swallow “one of his baby teeth.”
