She worked for several local newspapers as a writer before joining Fox News in July 2003 as a national correspondent and anchor. She was a correspondent for CNN and was an anchor and reporter for CBS News, including as a backup anchor for CBS Up to the Minute. Colby was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter for WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on Fox News’ WebMD TV. She is an attorney licensed to practice law in New York, California, Florida and the District of Columbia.
