The popular chef was born on June 30, 1972 in Malton, North Riding of Yorkshire, England. He did not reveal any information about his parents to the media. However, his parents were farmers on the Castle Howard estate. When he was a child, he helped his mother in the kitchen and began to take an interest in cooking. Regarding his education, he attended Amotherby School in Malton and Malton School.
