Who is Jamel Madani?
Jamel Madani (Arabic: جمال المداني) is a Tunisian actor born in 1963 in Tunis. He attended primary school in Bab Saadoun and then secondary school at Ibnou-Dhiaf high school in La Manouba. Jamel Madani interrupts them to become an artist.
Crazy about literature and music, Jamel participates in cultural workshops organized at the youth center in his neighborhood. At the age of 18, he joined the Maison de la culture Ibn-Rachiq to do theater under the direction of Mustapha Chérif and with Jamel Sassi and he too became an actor. In 1983, he joined the Association of Elders of the School of Arab Theater and its theater workshops, before joining the group Al Amal Al Masrahi alongside Mohamed Gharbi, director, and Ikram Azzouz, one of the figures of Tunisian theater .

Private life and career
Throughout his professional career Jamel Madani has made several films and plays.
He joined the Tunisian National Theater in 1988 under the direction of Mohamed Driss and managed the play Al Aâouada by Fadhel Jaziri and Fadhel Jaïbi. He took up a few small roles, in Dom Juan by Molière and Le Cadavre encerclé by Kateb Yacine. In 2010 and 2011, he created his first one-man show, Khouya Libre.
In 1993, he took his first steps in television playing in the soap opera Warda directed by Hamadi Arafa then in Amwaj by Slaheddine Essid in 1994. In 2002, he played in Itr Al Ghadhab (The Perfume of Anger) by Habib Mselmani and , in 2004, in Hissabat w Aqabat before playing in Maktoub, Chobbik Lobbik and Pour les beaux yeux de Catherine.
