Jameis Winston is an American football quarterback who is considered one of the top players for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). Before his fame and his professional debut in the NFL, he was a top-performing quarterback in high school. During his freshman years he had played for the Florida State Seminoles and became the youngest player to win the Heisman Trophy. He was considered one of the best players of his time with the Seminoles and had a lot to do with their victory in the 2014 BCS National Championship Game. His time with the Seminoles ended after becoming the first overall pick to be drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers im 2015 NFL Draft.

Before making his professional debut with Privateer Winston was already building his name as a footballer through his winning streak during his collegiate debut, completing 25 of 27 passes with a quick touchdown that led them to the win against the University of Pittsburgh in the 2013 season . Shortly after winning multiple awards in a year, Winston won the Heisman Trophy which placed him ahead of Jordan Lynch, Johhny Manziel, Tre Mason, Andre Williams and AJ McCarron. The Seminolelosing in a match to Oregon during the 2015 Rose Bowl semifinals was Winston’s only loss of his entire collegiate playing career. Winston scored 26-1 as a starter and acquired 562 of 851 passes for 7,964 yards, 65 touchdowns and 28 interceptions before being officially drafted by NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015.
