How to do JAMB Change of Course & Institution / Correction of Data

Did you make a mistake while filling your JAMB form? or you wish to change your institution or course? Learn how to make corrections to your change profile.
It is human to make mistakes but it is also human to attempt to rectify then.
This is to inform all the candidates who made mistakes while filling their forms during the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME/DE Registration that they can now make corrections for the following categories:
- Names Correction (Correction can only be done once)
- Passport Photograph Correction (Correction can only be done once)
- Gender Correction (Correction can only be done once)
- UTME Subjects Correction (Correction can only be done once)
- State/LGA Correction (Correction can only be done once)
- Profile Correction (Correction can only be done once)
- Choice of Institution/Course Correction (Correction can only be done more than once with separate payments)
NOTE: Each change costs
N2,500 (Two Thousand and Five Hundred Naira Only).

JAMB Change of Course & Institution / Data Correction Procedure.
Follow the procedure outlined below to effect any of the changes above:
- Go to JAMB portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility./Login.
- Login with your Email and Password.
- Click on ‘Registration (2020 only)’ from the list of services on the left side.
- From the drop-down, select ‘2020 UTME Data Correction‘ or “2020 DE Data Correction” depending on the type your registered.
- Then proceed to make payment of 2,500 (minus bank charges)
- On successful payment, you will be requested to select the particular change you wish to make. choose from the list of options.
- Makes the corrections you desire and “save”.
- Once you click save, the new changes will be available for you to download or print.
Alternatively, you may visit the nearest cafe, JAMB office or CBT centre to effect your changes and corrections.
Note: For correction of Name, you need to proceed to either the closest JAMB office or a JAMB accredited centre to complete the process after payment.

JAMB Change of Course & Institution / Data Correction Procedure for 2019 Downward.
For candidates who registered UTME/DE in 2019 and years below, follow the procedure outlined below to change your data on JAMB portal.
- Visit JAMB E-facility portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility./Login.
- Login with your Email and Password.
- Click on ‘Application for Correction of Data (2019 Downward)’ from the list of services on the left side.
- From the drop-down, select the one you wish to correct i.e. Course/Institution, Names, Date of Birth, Gender, State/LGA of Origin.
- Then proceed to make payment of 2,500 (minus bank charges).
- On successful payment, you will be requested to select the particular change you wish to make. choose from the list of options.
- Makes the corrections you desire and “save”.
- Once you click save, the new changes will be available for you to download or print.
