JAMB announces date for 2021 UTME exam, begins registration

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board have fixed June 5 for the commencement of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for 2021.

The head of Public Affairs and Protocols, Dr Fabian Benjamin, in his statement, said the 2021 UTME examination will end Saturday, June 19, 2021.

However, the examination body also stated that it has started the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry registration, thus noted that the candidates must provide their Nigeria Identification Number at the point of registration

“Registration will take place in 700 centres across the country; the list is available in all the state offices of JAMB and on its website at www.jamb.gov.ng.

“The approved schedule for registration and examination is that registration exercise will start on Thursday, April 8 and end on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

There will no be an extension for the date for the UTME or Direct Entry documents

He furthermore added that the registration fee for the UTME and DE application documents remained N3500 and N500 for recommended reading text.
