- In collaboration with his The LOX group member Styles P, he has opened a juice bar, Juices For Life . The juice bar originally opened in three locations in New York City – a borough of Queens, the Bronx and in Yonkers.
- He met his fellow The LOX group members while studying at Gorton High School.
- As a teenager, he and colleague Mary J. Blige met through her cousin, who was her former group member. They impressed Blige with their hard street style beats and she gave her demo tape to Sean Diddy Combs.
- After signing up The LOX to its Bad Boy Records imprint, Combs got them to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the music industry, like Mariah Carey and Notorious BIG
- Jadakiss is co-founder of the record label D-Block Records. He holds a third of the shares in the record company.
- Before The LOX was formed, their music group was called Die Bombentruppe . They used to perform at the local shows to showcase themselves.
- The night Notorious BIG was murdered in California, Jadakiss had met him at a nightclub and Biggie had given him the details of the other party that night. Jadakiss made it to the party, but Biggie didn’t.
- He started dealing drugs in his childhood after his parents encouraged him to earn his own money. He ran his business on Big Apple Street in those early days.
- He started rapping at a young age and entered freestyle competitions by the age of 12.
- In collaboration with his old friend Jay Jackson, he has founded an online multimedia creative company called SoRaspy which serves as a platform for his various business ventures such as apparel, online publishing and a YouTube channel.
- In July 2004, he was arrested in North Carolina for gun and marijuana possession. He eventually came to a plea bargain and was ordered to pay a $900 fine.
- In October 2006, Jadakiss was re-arrested for drug and gun possession. Authorities found a loaded gun in the car Jadakiss was in, which was reported stolen.
- On his single Why? After he was released, he became a major controversy when he insinuated in the single that George W. Bush was responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks. His single was banned from some radio stations.
