Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
Pretty Canadian girl with long black hair, the fear that her character in Final Destination 5 experiences could open the doors to a career that has yet to get off the ground in earnest.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, on April 17, 1987. At the age of 18, she moved to Toronto to start her acting career. She did not lack her desire, nor was she photogenic, which is why she was signed as “the girl with the hair” in an advertisement for the First Choice Hair Cutter hairdressing chain, established throughout the country. She must not have done it wrong, because she continues to follow “the hair girl” -the Hair Girl- for this company.
She decided to apply herself more as an actress studying at the Ryerson University Center for the Arts and at the Armstrong Acting Studio, while doing TV on the reality show Gamer Girlz (2008) or the microseries Lovebites (2007).
Although gorgeous and with a great guy, this great lover of motorcycles and disc jockey hasn’t done enough popular work yet. She has been in telefilms, and above all, her transfer to Los Angeles was important, where she was signed for the soap opera Beauty and Power , the saga of a poor family and another rich one, started in 2008, and is still on the air.
In cinema, her only notable role is as a solid and frivolous girl in Final Destination 5 (2011). The film plays with this image and she is also a spectacled woman, and her desire to have her eyes operated on gives rise to one of the most distressing scenes on the film. It is not her first foray into horror movies, as she had made Nightmare at the End of the Hall for TV in 2008 .
Regarding her personal life, it is said that she is dating fellow soap opera actor Daren Kagasoff .
