Early life and high school career
Ja Morant was born in South Carolina on August 10, 1999. His mom, Jamie, played basketball and softball, while his dad was a basketball player. Tee, Ja’s dad, initially pursued a pro basketball career but later became a barber when Jamie got pregnant with Ja.
