Biography
Alice Iyabo Ojo popularly known as Iyabo Ojo who hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State was born Alice Iyabo Ogunro on 21 December 1977 in Lagos, Nigeria. She was the youngest of three children with two older brothers.
Iyabo Ojo attended National College Gbagbada, Lagos before proceeding to study Estate Management at Lagos State Polytechnic.
She was involved in a drama group in secondary school, and she commenced her professional acting career in 1998 after registering with the Actors Guide of Nigeria through the help of Bimbo Akintola.
Her first role commenced in the same 1998 in a movie titled “Satanic”. She is a producer that has produced more than 15 movies on her own and has featured in over 150 films.
Ojo married at the age of 21 in 1999. Though the marriage did not last it produced two children Felix Ojo and Priscilla Ajoke Ojo.
She attributes the failure of her marriage to getting married too young.
Apart from her acting career, Iyabo Ojo has an NGO Pinkies Foundation which she launched in May 2011. The foundation caters to youngsters with unique wishes and the less privileged.
