Born on November 25, 1993 in Manisa, Turkey, İsmail Ege Şaşmaz moved to Istanbul at the age of majority to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor. He graduated from Polinas Industrial and Anatolic High School and finished his training at Manisa Municipal Conservatory. It was then that he decided to start his career as an actor, a path that was not easy at first, but which he managed to achieve in 2013 thanks to his first role as a professional in a television series.
Giving life to a teenage student, Barış, in the series ‘Zeynep, looking for his father’, the young man managed to achieve fame with just his first role due to the great success that fiction reaped. Since then he has not stopped working for the small and big screen , being one of the leading actors in novels such as ‘Dreaming Bird’ or the evil heartthrob of ‘Love is in the air’, where he once again shared the cast with actor Kerem Bürsin. .
