Ilorin residents are known for going in troupes to the Shoprite mall in Ilorin during festivals. So it’s not a surprise that Ilorin Muslim residents flood Shoprite to celebrate Eid.

Many non-residents, especially Lagosians believe that this occurrence is simply because Shoprite is the only attraction for Ilorinites on special occasions.
