IJMB, A BETTER OPTION THAN JAMB
IJMB, A BETTER OPTION THAN JAMB
IJMB is a better option than jamb, because over the years, a lot of students keep writing JAMB all over again
Nigerian tertiary institutions get over a million admission seekers year in year out and just half of that figure gets their desired admission.
JAMB has been a heartbreaker for most of these students rather than a life saver.
However, a new admission platform has come to save students the stress of seeking for admission every year.
This admission platform is known as the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), this is an A’level programme that grants students direct entry admission into 200 level.
Students who have tried jamb without success can opt for IJMB programme and secure direct entry admission into 200 level, it only requires you having O’level result for you to register for the IJMB programme.
Over 70% Nigerian universities; state, federal and private instiutions accept IJMB results for admission.
WHAT IS IJMB?
It is an Advanced level programme which is handled by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and it is co-ordinated in various institutions and study centres in the country.
IJMB is accredited by the Federal government of Nigeria and it is also recognized by the Nigeria University Commission (NUC).
For students who cannot gain admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions for a regular degree programme as a result of some challenges can always opt for IJMB programme.
HOW IJMB WORKS
Students who want to apply for the IJMB programme would be asked to select any three IJMB subject combination, and this is always selected in line with their preferred course of study in the university, either science, art or social science courses.
Candidates would then be lectured for a particular period and would afterwards sit for the final examination.
IJMB has more advantage, because it saves students the cost and stress of 100 level as they will be admitted directly into 200 level upon completion of the programme .
Why IJMB?
- IJMB result takes seven years to expire
- You can be running IJMB and JAMB together at the same time
- Students who pass successfully have a greater chance of being admitted directly into 200 level
- IJMB fees can be paid gradually in installment.
- Students can pick study centres that is close to their locations
- It is handled like a real university system
- IJMB helps in improving the oral, speaking and written abilities of students.
IJMB is a better option than JAMB, rather than sitting down at home, preparing and writing JAMB all over again, you can register for IJMB and still get the university life while running the programme.
