ICYMI: Gov. Okowa suspends Special Assistant for arranging prostitutes for Senators who came for Constitutional Review.

The Executive Governor of Delta State, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa has suspended his special senior Assistant, Mudi Temple for arranging prostitutes for Senators who came for Constitutional Review.

According to reports, A Group of legislators led by Senator James Manager had travelled down to Delta State for a national assignment.

However, the Senators visited the government house, on a courtesy visit to the Governor and to intimate him of their plans to kick off the constitutional review set up by the Deputy Senate President, Barr. Ovie Omo-Agege.

The Governor’s special assistant Mudi Temple approached the Senators from Abuja to ask them if he can arrange for some prostitute for them to spend the nights with for all the nights they will stay in Asaba till they go back to Abuja.

The majority of the Senators however rejected the offer probably because they know such an act is against the Governor’s Personality.

One of the workers in the government house that was present while the aide was talking to the Senators approached a senior government official, who opened the governor’s office for him to tell the governor the irresponsibility of his aide.

According to inside sources, the  Governor directed the office of the Secretary to the State Government on Tuesday to issue a two months suspension to the aide and the removal of his name from the payroll, pending when he is recalled.

The suspension however has been kept secret from going to the public as the government fears a backlash from the Public

According to another report, the governor has earlier suspended Mudi Temple in 2017 for taking 350,000 Naira from the former Speaker of the House of Representative Hon. Dogara during a visit to Delta State.

The Governor’s Aide however lied that the Former Legislator had given him 350,000 Naira because one of Dogara Convoy damaged his Car.
